With Covid-19 presenting challenges for financial professionals and businesses across the globe, accountants are in demand for specialist skills and knowledge. This guidance and support has been combined to assist AIA members and students deal with the impact of and recovery from the pandemic.
AIA would encourage all members to refer and adhere to policies designed to reduce the transmission of the virus in their own jurisdiction, following the advice of credible news sources such as the NHS (UK) and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
AIA exams scheduled to take place in May 2020 have been cancelled across all centres. The next exam session will take place in November 2020; any candidate registered for May’s session will automatically be transferred. If you have been affected by the temporary closure of Study Centres, please consider using the AIA distance learning programme, AIA Achieve.
AIA will be updating the provision of its online CPD regularly alongside providing a range of learning options through our approved CPD partners.
AIA members in practice can also access Tolley Online Seminars free of charge.
AIA has modified working practices and staff will be working remotely from home under further notice.
All staff remain contactable by phone and email, however all non-essential travel has been cancelled and alternative arrangements will be made for meetings.
We remain focussed on member priorities and will do all we can to minimise disruption to services during this time.
