Training and skills, zero debt!

Many students are looking at alternatives to university, and AIA can offer the practical skills and training that the accountancy sector values without the debt associated with going to university. Students can choose to work whilst they study, gaining crucial work experience, at the same time as embarking on a professional qualification.

Achieve your potential

You don’t have to get a degree to become a qualified accountant. The AIA professional qualification is broken down into 3 stand-alone qualifications, each designed to allow the student to develop their skills and knowledge and reach their full potential. After passing each stage of the exams, you will receive a qualification, rewarding your progression and demonstrating your advancement to employers.

Credibility and employability

Having a qualification from a professional accountancy body demonstrates to employers, clients and the general public that you have the training and skills necessary to carry out accountancy work to the highest standard. AIA supports members throughout their career, recognising their achievements, work experience and progression and tailoring membership services accordingly.

The skills employers demand

All AIA qualifications were designed after extensive research with a range of industries and stakeholders to ensure that they provide the skills employers demand, building up your knowledge bank as you move through the levels and giving you the ability to apply those key theories to practical work scenarios.

Flexibility

No matter where you are in the world, or what your personal situation is, AIA believes in offering a pathway to membership for all and has a range of flexible study options, including Achieve, to suit your home and work commitments.

International qualification, local understanding

AIA is a global body, with members all over the world, and throughout our long history of delivering high quality professional qualifications we know how to deliver a qualification with international appeal. AIA’s professional qualification is examined on IFRS, but with local expertise applied, where possible, to your home country.
