Audit is a regulated profession in the UK offering a rewarding career in a complex and fast-paced field. In order to qualifying as a statutory auditor, you must first obtain a recognised professional qualification, such as the AIA’s. The AIA’s statutory audit training programme will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to succeed.
QUALIFICATION STRUCTURE
The AIA’s recognised professional qualification is made up of 16 exams, which must be completed either by exam or by exemption, and a multi-disciplinary case study. Exemptions are available for relevant qualifications undertaken in the last five years.
The qualification is structured to ensure a depth of knowledge is developed across all key areas in line with the AIA competency framework, delivering the professional skills, knowledge analysis and ethical judgement required by today’s auditors.
